General Policies
Minimum Stays: Certain time frames during peak seasons (July and August and October) may require minimum stays. Rates and minimum stays may vary for holidays and special events.
Check-in time is 3:00 PM and checkout is 11:00 AM. Guests are welcome to arrive earlier, and we will do our best to accommodate; however, the rooms may be unavailable before 3 p.m. Guest are always invited to store their luggage at the Inn and relax in one of the public areas or explore the town. A late check-out may be arranged when possible.
Extra Person: Rates are based on double occupancy. Extra person is $25 per night.
Pet Fees: Pets are permitted in the ground-floor Garden Suite and The Queen’s Cottage only with a $25 pet fee per night. Pets must be under 40 pounds. All service dogs must wear a service vest when in public areas at the Inn.
Room Rates: Room rates do not include 11.7% room tax. Subject to change without notice.
Age Limit: Children over ten are welcome.
Deposit and Refund: Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last-minute cancellation leaves little chance of filling the reserved space. For this reason, Devonfield Inn maintains a strict cancellation policy. A full deposit is required for one-night stays. A 50% deposit is required for two-night or longer stays. Deposits will be refunded only if notice is received by our office no less than 14 days (30 days in July and August) prior to the intended date of arrival. A service charge of $50.00 per room will be deducted from the deposit. Guests who check out before the last day of the reservation will be required to pay for the days reserved in full. We realize that situations may arise necessitating cancellation within the 14-day limit (30 days in July and August), and do sympathize; however, we must maintain our business policy due to limited season and high accommodation demands.
